Continents Completed!

We have finally done it! After an extremely long and miserable hiatus, IBN has been held once again and this time we came out firing. This past weekend we had an extremely pleasurable time tasting these ever so special brews in the Slope of the Park. It was a long time coming but there is no reason for us to believe that you will be disappointed with our findings. However, before I get to revealing our results, I must mention a very important event that has taken place. We have added a new member! We would like to welcome our newest member (officially inducted this past weekend), Bruno. He was invited back to IBN after his first run over a year ago and by the end of the night there was an overwhelming appreciation for his contributions to the night. There was nothing else to do but to make him a permanent member. Welcome Bruno! Now the moment you've all been waiting for:

1. London Pride -England 8.21

  • - Delicious
  • - Definitely a multiple time drink

2. Xingu -Brazil 7.96

  • - Sweet and delicious
  • - Very much like a porter

3. Beerlao -Laos 7.36

  • - Very likable nutty-raspberry flavor
  • - Thick and heavy lager
  • - Great smell

4. Tusker -Kenya 7.17

  • Tasteless goodness
  • Great drinkability

5. Hitachino Nest -Japan 4.95

  • Smells like tomato but looks like Blue Moon
  • Tastes like citrus, tomato, and dirt (the dirt eventually fades)

6. Otro Mundo -Argentina 4.75

  • Smells and tastes like soy sauce and apple cider
  • We considered changing the rules so that we didn't have to finish it.
  • Eventually becomes tolerable

As you can see we had a pretty successful night in reaching out to two new countries and one new continent. We have now had beer from every continent that brews. Now we just need to wait for an Antarctic beer.

Cheers!
